What we collect, and why

• Your name, phone number and address — so the courier can find you. The phone number is given to the person delivering.
• Your email address — to send your order confirmation. We do not run a mailing list, so this is the only thing it is used for.
• Your delivery area — it sets the delivery fee, which is worked out from how far you are from our dairy.
• A payment receipt, only if you pay by bank transfer or JazzCash — so we can check the payment before we start making your order.
• Your exact map location, only if you choose to share it — checkout has an optional “Share exact location on a map” button. If you use it, the coordinates you set (by letting your browser locate you, dragging the pin, or both) are saved against your order so our rider can find you directly. If you don't click it, nothing is collected — your browser is never asked for your location otherwise.

We do not ask for and never receive card numbers. There is no card processor on this site at all — payment is cash on delivery, bank transfer or JazzCash, all arranged directly with us.

Receipts are stored privately

A receipt you upload is re-saved as a fresh image before it is stored, which strips the hidden data phone cameras attach to photos — including the GPS location of where the picture was taken. It is then kept in private storage that is not reachable from the web: only the shop owner, signed in to the admin panel, can open it.

What this site does not do

• No advertising pixels, no Google Analytics, no Meta tracking.
• No cookie banner, because there are no tracking cookies to consent to.
• We never sell or share your details with anyone for marketing.

The two cookies this site does set are both strictly functional: one remembers which basket is yours, and one remembers which orders you placed so the confirmation page will open for you and not for a stranger. Neither can be read by JavaScript, and the second expires after 30 days.

We do use Vercel Analytics to see how many people visit and which pages they read — it counts visits in aggregate, sets no cookie, and cannot identify you individually. It is not Google Analytics or any advertising network, and nothing it collects is ever used to target ads at you, here or elsewhere.

Who else is involved

Running a shop means a few companies necessarily handle parts of it: our website host, our database host, the storage that holds photos and receipts, and the service that sends your confirmation email. They process this data on our instructions in order to deliver your order, and for nothing else.

If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation happens on WhatsApp and is covered by their privacy terms, not ours.

How long we keep it

Order records and receipts are kept as business and tax records. If you would like your details removed, message us and we will remove everything we are not legally required to keep.

Asking us about your data

Write to khayradairy@gmail.com or message 0303 4877637 on WhatsApp and ask for a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. A real person reads it.
